Ringtail Surgeonfish

Le Chirurgien à queue rayée (Acanthurus Blochii) est une espèce de poisson osseux de la famille des Acanthuridés. On le trouve dans le bassin Indo-Pacifique tropicale. Ces poissons-chirurgiens forment des petits groupes ou des bancs près des récifs.

Acanthurus blochii, the ringtail surgeonfish or dark surgeonfish, is a marine ray-finned fish belonging to the family Acanthuridae, the surgeonfishes, unicornfishes and tangs. This fish is found in the Indo-Pacific. Taxonomy Acanthurus blochii was first formally described in 1835 by the French zoologist Achille Valenciennes with its type locality given as Mauritius.
