Scarce Umber

L'Hibernie orangée, Agriopis aurantiaria, est un lépidoptère (papillon) de la famille des Geometridae, de la sous-famille des Ennominae, présent dans toute l'Europe. Description Imago : d'une longueur de 10 à 15 mm, la femelle n'a pas d'ailes, mais un gros corps gris pâle. Le mâle, fréquemment de couleur orangée, est ailé.

Agriopis aurantiaria, the scarce umber, is a moth of the family Geometridae. It was first described by Jacob Hübner in 1799 and it is found throughout Europe from Spain through Central Europe to Russia. In the south it can be found from the western Mediterranean to the Black Sea and the Caucasus.
