Amegilla quadrifasciata, the white-banded digger bee, is a species of bee belonging to the family Apidae subfamily Apinae. Distribution These bees have a wide distribution ranging from the Canary Islands in the west to Japan in the east. They are present in most of central and southern Europe, in central Asia and in North Africa.
Amegilla quadrifasciata es una especie de abeja excavadora perteneciente al género Amegilla, categorizada en la tribu Anthophorini, de la subfamilia Apinae. Fue descrita científicamente por el naturalista francés Charles Joseph Devillers en 1789. Mide 9-15 mm de longitud, abdomen con bandas oscuras y claras, cuerpo robusto.
