Amegilla savignyi es una especie de abeja excavadora perteneciente al género Amegilla, categorizada en la tribu Anthophorini, de la subfamilia Apinae. Fue descrita inicialmente por el entomólogo francés Amédée Louis Michel Lepeletier en 1841 y es sinónimo de Anthophora savignyi Lepeletier, 1841, Amegilla magnilabris (Fedtschenko, 1875) y Anthophora magnilabris Fedtschenko, 1875. Aparece publicada en una sección del libro Histoire Naturelle Des Insectes.
