Horned Screamer

Le Kamichi cornu (Anhima cornuta') est une espèce d'oiseaux de la famille des Anhimidae, proche parent des canards et des oies. C'est la seule espèce du genre Anhima. C'est une espèce monotypique (non subdivisée en sous-espèces).

The horned screamer (Anhima cornuta) is a species of bird that belongs to a relatively small family, the Anhimidae, which occurs in wetlands of tropical South America. There are three screamer species, the other two being the southern screamer and the northern screamer in the genus Chauna. They are related to ducks, geese and swans, which are in the family Anatidae, but have bills looking more like those of game birds.

El aruco (Anhima cornuta) es una especie de ave anseriforme de la familia Anhimidae, propia de Sudamérica, emparentada con el chajá. Ampliamente extendida, sus poblaciones ocupan buena parte de Colombia, Venezuela, Brasil, Ecuador, Perú, las Guayanas y Bolivia. Es el ave insignia del departamento colombiano de Arauca.
