Arge Moth

Apantesis est un genre de lépidoptères (papillons) de la famille des Erebidae et de la sous-famille des Arctiinae. Systématique Le genre Apantesis a été décrit en 1855 par l'entomologiste britannique Francis Walker. Son espèce type est Apantesis radians Walker, 1855, un synonyme d'Apantesis vittata (Fabricius, 1787).

Apantesis arge, the arge moth or arge tiger moth, is a moth of the family Erebidae. The species was first described by Dru Drury in 1773. It is found in North America from Quebec and Maine to Florida, West to New Mexico, North to North Dakota and Ontario.
