Apantesis quenseli

Apantesis est un genre de lépidoptères (papillons) de la famille des Erebidae et de la sous-famille des Arctiinae. Systématique Le genre Apantesis a été décrit en 1855 par l'entomologiste britannique Francis Walker. Son espèce type est Apantesis radians Walker, 1855, un synonyme d'Apantesis vittata (Fabricius, 1787).

Apantesis quenseli, the Labrador tiger moth, is a moth of the family Erebidae. In Central Europe the species is found in the Central Alps at altitudes of 2,000–2,700 metres (6,600–8,900 ft). They are also present in Northern Scandinavia.
