Le Campagnol amphibie (Arvicola sapidus) est une espèce de rongeurs de la famille des Cricetidae. Cette espèce aquatique se distingue de l'espèce voisine, le Campagnol terrestre (Arvicola amphibius, syn. Arvicola terrestris), par un mode de vie très différent.

It is listed on the IUCN Red List as a Near Threatened species. Reproductive cycle The reproductive cycle of the southwestern water vole varies seasonally and geographically, with the most intense reproductive activity occurring from March through October, peaking between April and June.

La rata de agua (Arvicola sapidus) es una especie de roedor de la familia Cricetidae. Es un gran cricétido de gran parte de Francia, España y Portugal. Aunque históricamente considerado un miembro de la misma especie que Arvicola amphibius, Musser y Carleton (2005) consideran que son distintos.
