The white-winged brushfinch (Atlapetes leucopterus) is a species of bird in the family Passerellidae, the New World sparrows. It is found in Ecuador and Peru. Taxonomy The white-winged brushfinch was formally described in 1856 with the binomial Arremon leucopterus.
