Atys riiseanus

Atys riiseanus, also called Riise's paper bubble, is a species of small tropical sea snail, a bubble snail, a marine opisthobranch gastropod mollusk in the family Haminoeidae, the haminoea bubble snails. The snail was first documented by Mörch in volume 22 of the 1875 publication Malakozoologische Blätter. Distribution This marine species occurs in the Gulf of Mexico, in the Caribbean Sea, and on the Atlantic coasts of Central America and northeastern South America.
