The hooded visorbearer (Augastes lumachella) is a small species of hummingbird in the family Trochilidae. Endemic to the east Brazilian state of Bahia, it is found only at higher altitudes in the Chapada Diamantina region. The species is sexually dimorphic.
El colibrí lumaquela o colibrí bronce de cara verde (Augastes lumachella), es una especie de ave apodiforme de la familia Trochilidae, una de las dos pertenecientes al género Augastes. Es endémica del noreste de Brasil. Distribución y hábitat Se encuentra únicamente en las mesetas montanas del noreste de Brasil del centro de Bahía, entre Morro do Chapéu, Andarai y Barra da Estiva.
