Gerstaecker's Bumble Bee

Le Bourdon des aconits (Bombus gerstaeckeri) est une espèce d'insectes de la famille des Apidae et du genre Bombus, les Bourdons. Il se reconnaît à sa grande taille, à ses très longues joues (l'espace entre l'œil et la mandibule) et à son pelage brun sur le thorax. Cette espèce endémique des hautes montagnes d'Europe est inféodée aux Aconits, et plus spécifiquement à l'Aconit tue-loup.

The list presented here is a list of global bumblebee species (Tribe Bombini) based on the Bombus phylogeny presented by Cameron et al (2007) and grouped by subgenus following the revision of Williams et al (2008). The bumblebee fossil record extends back to the Late Eocene in North America and England with the most diversity of fossils found during the Miocene. The fossil species were discussed and revised by Dehon et al (2019).

Megabombus es un subgénero de abejorros Bombus. ​ Habitan en toda Europa, Asia, toda la costa mediterránea, toda Rusia y toda Asia a excepción de la India, Pakistán y Afganistán. Estos abejorros suelen tener probóscides medianas o largas, por lo que visitan flores de mediana profundidad y de gran profundidad.
