Pacific Boa

Candoia bibroni—commonly known as Bibron's bevel-nosed boa, Bibron's keel-scaled boa, the Pacific tree boa or the Fiji boa—is a species of boa, a group of non-venomous, constricting snakes, endemic to the southern Pacific Ocean island chains of Melanesia and Polynesia. Candoia bibroni est une espèce de serpents de la famille des Boidae. Répartition Cette espèce se rencontre en Mélanésie et en Polynésie, aux Fidji, aux Tonga, aux Samoa, aux Salomon, au Vanuatu et aux îles Loyauté. Candoia es el único género de serpientes constrictoras pertenecientes a la subfamilia Candoiinae, la cual pertenece a la familia Boidae. Este género incluye cinco especies y varias subespecies de pequeñas boas autóctonas de Nueva Guinea y algunas islas de la Melanesia y las Molucas.
