The pink maomao (Caprodon longimanus), also known as the longfin perch, is a species of marine ray-finned fish, a member of the family Anthiadidae. It is found in the southern Pacific and the southeastern Indian Ocean. Description The pink maomao has long and pointed pectoral fins, longer than the head, a long based dorsal fin and a caudal fin which is slightly forked.

Caprodon es un pequeño género de peces perteneciente a la subfamilia Anthiinae. Incluye tres especies. ​ Taxonomía El género Caprodon se definió por Coenraad Jacob Temminck y Hermann Schlegel en 1843 basado en la especie tipo Anthias schlegelii.
