Chilocorus bipustulatus, la coccinelle des landes ou des bruyères, est une espèce de coléoptères de la famille des Coccinellidae. Cet insecte se nourrit de pucerons et de cochenilles (Saissetia oleae, Aspidiotus nerii, Chionaspis salicis, Chrysomphalus aonidum, Pseudaulacaspis pentagona, Planococcus citri, etc.) Cette espèce a donc été introduite partout dans le monde pour participer à la lutte biologique en cas d'infestations.

Chilocorus bipustulatus, the heather ladybird, is a beetle species belonging to the family Coccinellidae, subfamily Chilocorinae. These beetles are found in most of the Palearctic realm, (Europe, North Africa, Asia north of the Himalayan foothills, and northern and central Arabian Peninsula), and has been introduced to tropical Africa, Hawaii, and North America. The elytra of this small beetle are a shiny brown with two reddish-orange spots on each elytron (hence the Latin word bipustulatus, meaning two-blistered).

Chilocorus bipustulatus es una especie de coleóptero cucujoideo de la familia Coccinellidae de la subfamilia Chilocorinae. ​ Estos escarabajos son originarios de Europa, oeste de Asia y norte de África (origen paleártico)​ pero han sido introducidos en todo el mundo como control biológico, entre otros países, en Argentina. ​ Características Estos pequeños escarabajos pueden medir entre 3,0 a 5,0 mm.
