Telea Hairstreak

Chlorostrymon thelea est une espèce de lépidoptères (papillons) de la famille des Lycaenidae, sous-famille des Theclinae et du genre Chlorostrymon. Dénomination Chlorostrymon thelea a été décrit par William Chapman Hewitson en 1868, sous le nom initial de Thecla thelea. Synonymes : Chlorostyrom patagonia Johnson, 1989; Chlorostrymon larancagua Johnson, 1990; Strymon telea, Barnes & McDunnough, 1917.

Chlorostrymon telea, the telea hairstreak, is a butterfly of the family Lycaenidae. It was described by William Chapman Hewitsonin 1868. It is found from southern Texas and Mexico to Colombia, Uruguay, Paraguay, eastern Bolivia, Argentina and Chile.
