The Atlantic sea nettle (Chrysaora quinquecirrha), also called the East Coast sea nettle in the United States, is a species of jellyfish that inhabits the Atlantic coast of the United States. Historically it was confused with several Chrysaora species, resulting in incorrect reports of C. quinquecirrha from other parts of the Atlantic and other oceans.

La ortiga de mar de la costa este, ortiga del Atlántico o simplemente ortiga de mar, (Chrysaora quinquecirrha) es una especie de medusa de la familia Pelagiidae, clase Scyphozoa. Morfología Alcanza un ancho de 25 cm. Tiene forma de campana simétrica semitransparente, a rayas y manchas rojas, anaranjadas o marrones.
