Oxystele is a genus of sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Trochidae, the top snails. Although previously suggested as a subgenus of Diloma, genetic analysis has shown it to be more appropriate as its own genus. Description The depressed conical shell is dark or variegated in color.
