Tamarugo Conebill

Le Conirostre des tamarugos (Conirostrum tamarugense), également appelé Sucrier à front rouge, est une espèce de passereaux de la famille des Thraupidae. Répartition et habitat Cet oiseau niche dans le nord du Chili où elle fréquente les plantations et parcelles de Prosopis tamarugo jusqu'à 2 950 m et hiverne dans le sud du Pérou où elle peuple les zones de Gynoxys et Polylepis entre 3 400 et 4 050 m d'altitude. The tamarugo conebill (Conirostrum tamarugense) is a species of bird in the family Thraupidae. It breeds in northern Chile and is a vagrant to southern Peru, and receives its name from the tamarugo, a type of shrub to which it is closely associated. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland, and plantations.

El conirrostro de tamarugal,​ comesebo de los tamarugales (en Chile) o pico-de-cono de los tamarugales (en Perú) (Conirostrum tamarugense), también denominado mielerito tamarugo,​ es una especie de ave paseriforme de la familia Thraupidae, perteneciente al género Conirostrum. Es endémica de Chile y Perú. Distribución y hábitat Se distribuye desde el suroeste de Perú (Arequipa) hacia el sur hasta el norte de Chile (Antofagasta).
