European Common Cuckoo

Le Coucou gris (Cuculus canorus) est une espèce d'oiseaux de la famille des Cuculidae. Il doit son nom vernaculaire à son chant. Son comportement est caractérisé par la pratique du parasitisme de couvée.

Cuckoos are birds in the family Cuculidae, the sole taxon in the order Cuculiformes. The cuckoo family includes the common cuckoo, roadrunners, koels, malkohas, couas, coucals, and anis. The coucals and anis are sometimes separated as distinct families, the Centropodidae and Crotophagidae, respectively.
