Cymbacephalus beauforti

Cymbacephalus beauforti, communément nommé poisson-crocodile de Beaufort, est une espèce de poissons marins benthique de la famille des Platycephalidae. Description Le poisson-crocodile de Beaufort est un poisson de taille moyenne pouvant atteindre 50 cm de long, mais la taille moyenne couramment observée est de 35 cm . Son corps est allongé, sa tête est plate et longue, cette dernière est couverte de crêtes osseuses et d'épines.

De Beaufort's flathead (Cymbacephalus beauforti), also known as the crocodilefish or giant flathead, is a species of marine ray-finned fish belonging to the family Platycephalidae, the flatheads. It is found in the Western Pacific Ocean.
