The silver seatrout (Cynoscion nothus), also known as white trout, sugar trout, and silver weakfish, is a species of marine ray-finned fish belonging to the family Sciaenidae, the drums and croakers. This fish is found in the Western Atlantic Ocean. Distribution The species is found in the western Atlantic, across the eastern areas of coastal North America and in the Bahamas.
