In Europe, it is known from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Corsica, Croatia, the Czech Republic, mainland Denmark, European Turkey, Finland, mainland France, Germany, mainland Greece, Hungary, mainland Italy, Kaliningrad, Moldova, North Macedonia, mainland Norway (doubtful), Poland, Russia, Sardinia, Sicily, Slovakia, mainland Spain, Sweden, Ukraine and Yugoslavia. El paisaje protegido de Fataga es un espacio protegido situado en el sur de Gran Canaria (Canarias, España). ​ Se encuentra en el barranco de Fataga y sus estribaciones, dentro del término municipal de San Bartolomé de Tirajana, ocupando un área de 3004,6 ha. En 1987 fue incluido dentro del parque natural de Ayagaures y Pilancones, siendo reclasificado como paisaje protegido el 19 de diciembre de 1994.
