Diplomystes nahuelbutaensis

Les Diplomystidés (Diplomystidae) sont une famille de poissons-chats (ordre des Siluriformes).

Diplomystes nahuelbutaensis is a species of freshwater ray-finned fish belonging to the family Diplomystidae, the velvet catfishes. This fish is endemic to Chile where it occurs in the Bío-Bío River basin and the Imperial River, as well as some coastal basins in the Biobío Region. It grows to a length of 26.

Diplomystes nahuelbutaensis es una especie de pez de la familia Diplomystidae en el orden de los Siluriformes. Se le conoce con el nombre común tollo de agua dulce. ​ Morfología Tiene un cuerpo sin escamas y alargado, piel lisa y papilas cortas, con un par de barbillas maxilares.
