Dipoena melanogaster is a species of cobweb spider in the family Theridiidae. It has a wide distribution across Europe, North Africa, and extends eastward to Azerbaijan and Iran. Taxonomy The species was originally described by Carl Ludwig Koch in 1837 as Atea melanogaster.
