Disonycha xanthomelas is a species in the tribe Alticini ("flea beetles"), in the subfamily Galerucinae ("skeletonizing leaf beetles and flea beetles"). The species is known generally as the "spinach flea beetle". It is found in North America.

Disonycha xanthomelas es una especie de escarabajo del género Disonycha, familia Chrysomelidae. ​ Fue descrita científicamente por Dalman en 1823. ​ Habita en América del Norte (Arizona, Florida, Isla del Príncipe Eduardo, Territorios del Noroeste).
