Enallagma cardenium, the purple bluet, is a species of narrow-winged damselfly in the family Coenagrionidae. It is found in the Caribbean and North America. The IUCN conservation status of Enallagma cardenium is "LC", least concern, with no immediate threat to the species' survival.
Enallagma cardenium es una especie de caballito del diablo del género Enallagma, de la familia Coenagrionidae, orden Odonata. Fue descrita por Hagen en 1876. Mide 34 mm de longitud y cuenta con una envergadura de 20 mm.
