Verdant Hawk Moth

Euchloron megaera est une espèce de lépidoptères (papillons) africains de la famille des Sphingidae. Elle est l'unique représentante du genre monotypique Euchloron. Morphologie La longueur de l'aile antérieure est de 40–50 mm et l'envergure est de 96–121 mm.

Euchloron is a monotypic moth genus of the family Sphingidae first described by Jean Baptiste Boisduval in 1875. Its only species, Euchloron megaera, the verdant hawk, is known from most of Africa and Yemen. It is a migratory species.
