It is found in Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, southern Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon, the Republic of the Congo, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (Sankuru), western Uganda and north-western Tanzania. The habitat consists of forests.
