Eunica bechina

Le genre Eunica regroupe des insectes lépidoptères de la famille des Nymphalidae, sous-famille des Biblidinae, tribu des Biblidini (ou des Epicaliini) et sous-tribu des Epicalina. Dénomination Le genre Eunica a été décrit par l'entomologiste allemand Jakob Hübner en 1819. L'espèce type est Papilio monima (Stoll, 1782) actuellement Eunica monima.

Eunica is a genus of nymphalid butterflies found in the Neotropical realm. These butterflies have some eye-like spots on the wings. According to one research, there is an evolutionary tendency for decreasing of the number of spots.

Eunica es un género de lepidópteros perteneciente a la familia Nymphalidae. Es originaria de los Neotrópicos. ​ Especies Eunica alcmena (Doubleday, 1847).
