Indian Silverbill

Le Capucin bec-de-plomb (Euodice malabarica syn. Lonchura malabarica) est une espèce de passereaux de la famille des Estrildidae. Distribution Cette espèce est commune du Qatar, et du Nord du sultanat d'Oman jusqu'au Bangladesh et au Sri Lanka.

The Indian silverbill or white-throated munia (Euodice malabarica) is a small passerine bird found in the Indian subcontinent and adjoining regions that was formerly considered to include the closely related African silverbill (Euodice cantans). This estrildid finch is a common resident breeding bird in the drier regions of the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent. It has also been introduced into many other parts of the world and has become established in some areas.

El capuchino picoplata indio (Euodice malabarica)​ es una especie de ave paseriforme que vive en el sur de Asia. Taxonomía Anteriormente se clasificaba en el género Lonchura y se consideraba conespecífico del capuchino picoplata africano, pero actualmente se clasifica en el género Euodice con el capuchino picoplata africano como único congénere. Descripción El pico de plata indio es una pequeña ave gregaria que se alimenta principalmente de semillas.
