Euphaedra ceres, the Ceres forester, is a butterfly in the family Nymphalidae. It is found in western and central Africa (Gambia, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon and the Republic of the Congo). Description Note The species of this subgroup may he at once known by the hindwing not being red at the base of the costal margin beneath.
