Double-branded crow

Euploea sylvester est un insecte lépidoptère de la famille des Nymphalidae, de la sous-famille des Danainae et du genre Euploea. Dénomination Euploea sylvester (Fabricius, 1793) Synonymes :Papilio core (Fabricius, 1793). Noms vernaculaires Euploea sylvester se nomme en anglais Two-brand Crow ou Double-branded Crow.

Euploea sylvester, the double-branded crow, also known as the two-brand crow in Australia, is a butterfly found in South Asia, Southeast Asia and parts of Australia that belongs to the crows and tigers, that is, the danaid group of the brush-footed butterflies family. Several races of the butterfly are recognized. Race pelor is found in Australia.
