Amarynthis est un genre d'insectes lépidoptères de la famille des Riodinidae qui ne comprend qu'une seule espèce Amarynthis meneria. Dénomination Le nom Amarynthis leur a été donné par Jacob Hübner en 1819. Espèce Amarynthis meneria (Cramer, [1776]) est présent en Guyane, en Guyana, au Surinam, en Équateur, au Brésil et au Pérou.

Amarynthis is a monotypic genus of butterflies in the family Riodinidae. Its sole species, Amarynthis meneria, the meneria metalmark, is a common species in lowland rainforests east of the Andes from Venezuela, Suriname and Guyana, south through the Brazilian Amazon to Peru and northern Argentina. The wings are very delicate; the veins deviate from those of Amblygonia only by the 3rd subcostal vein not rising immediately before the cell-end, but immediately behind it.

Amarynthis meneria es una especie de mariposa de la familia Riodinidae, es un género monotípico. Es una especie común en las tierras bajas de la selva tropical, se encuentran al este de los Andes de Venezuela, Surinam y Guyana, al sur a través de la Amazonia brasileña hasta el Perú y en el norte de Argentina.
