Ferdinandea ruficornis

Ferdinandea est un genre d'insectes diptères brachycères de la famille des Syrphidae (syrphes). Comme beaucoup d'espèces d'Eristalinae, les adultes se nourrissent de nectar et de pollen.

These subdivisions are now believed to be, to some extent, artificial groupings, not reflecting the evolutionary relationships within the family, so in need of revision.
