Forelius pruinosus, commonly known as the high noon ant, is a species of ant in the genus Forelius. Described by Roger in 1863, the species is endemic to North America and has been recently observed in Latin America. This ant species generally feeds on nectar and invertebrates and are found to have mutualistic relationships with various insect and plant species.

Forelius pruinosus es una especie de hormiga del género Forelius, subfamilia Dolichoderinae. ​ Fue descrita científicamente por Roger en 1863. ​ Se distribuye por Bahamas, Brasil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, El Salvador, Honduras, México, Nicaragua, Panamá y Estados Unidos.
