Geryonia proboscidalis est une espèce de méduses, la seule du genre Geryonia, de la famille des Geryoniidae. Description Geryonia proboscidalis a une ombrelle de forme presque hémisphérique, d'un diamètre de 35 à 80 mm. Elle possède six canaux radiaires.

Geryonia is a monotypic genus of hydrozoans in the family Geryoniidae. It is represented by the species Geryonia proboscidalis which occurs in the Mediterranean and subtropical seas. In the Mediterranean the species is more numerous and the polyps are larger than in other parts of the world.
