Grypotyphlops acutus, unique représentant du genre Grypotyphlops, est une espèce de serpents de la famille des Typhlopidae. Répartition Cette espèce est endémique d'Inde. Elle se rencontre au Kerala, au Tamil Nadu, en Andhra Pradesh, au Karnataka, à Goa, au Maharashtra, au Gujarat, au Madhya Pradesh, en Uttar Pradesh, au Bihar, au Jharkhand, au Chhattisgarh, en Odisha et au Bengale-Occidental.

Grypotyphlops acutus, also known as the beaked worm snake, beaked blind snake, or beak-nosed worm snake, is a harmless blind snake species endemic to peninsular India. It is the only species in the genus Grypotyphlops. No subspecies are currently recognized.
