House Finch

Le Roselin familier (Haemorhous mexicanus) ou Roselin du Mexique, parfois également appelé Carpodaque du Mexique, est une espèce de passereaux de la famille des Fringillidae. Très commun, ce passereau est une espèce prolifique en voie d'expansion sur tout le continent nord-américain. De la taille d'un moineau, il est doté d'un bec fort lié à son régime essentiellement granivore.

The house finch (Haemorhous mexicanus) is a North American bird in the finch family. It is native to Mexico and southwestern United States, but has since been introduced to the eastern part of North America and Hawaiʻi; it is now found year-round in almost all parts of the United States and most of Mexico, with breeding grounds well into Canada as far north as northern Alberta. There are estimated to be 40 million house finches across North America, making it the second-most populous finch, just behind the American goldfinch.

El pinzón mexicano,​ camachuelo mexicano​ (Haemorhous mexicanus), conocido también como carpodaco doméstico,​ es una especie de ave paseriforme de la familia Fringillidae propia de América del Norte. Es una ave pequeña de color pardo, que vive prácticamente en todos los hábitats incluidas las grandes ciudades. Está como en preocupación menor (LC) por la lista roja de la IUCN.
