Heleobia is a genus of small freshwater and brackish water snails with a gill and an operculum, aquatic gastropod mollusks in the family Cochliopidae and the superfamily Truncatelloidea. Heleobia is one of three genera (together with Semisalsa and Heleobops) within the subfamily Semisalsinae. Some authors treated Semisalsa as a subgenus of Heleobia.
Heleobia es un género de caracoles pequeños de agua dulce y agua salobre con un branquias y opérculo. Son moluscos gasterópodos acuáticos de la familia Cochliopidae y la superfamilia Truncatelloidea. Heleobia es uno de los tres géneros (junto con Semisalsa y Heleobops ) dentro de la subfamilia Semisalsinae.
