Matsudaira's Storm-Petrel

L'Océanite de Matsudaira (Hydrobates matsudairae, anciennement Oceanodroma matsudairae) est une espèce de petits oiseaux de mer de la famille des Hydrobatidae. Selon la classification de référence du Congrès ornithologique international (version 15. 1, 2025) c'est une espèce monotypique.

Matsudaira's storm petrel (Hydrobates matsudairae) is a species of seabird in the family Hydrobatidae. It breeds solely in the Volcano Islands in the northwest Pacific Ocean, and winters in the Indian Ocean. Its common name and Latin binomial commemorate the Japanese ornithologist Yorikatsu Matsudaira.
