Smiling sand eel

Le Serpenton souris (Ichthyapus selachops) est un poisson anguilliforme vivant dans l'océan Pacifique.

The smiling snake eel (Ichthyapus selachops, also known as the smiling sand eel) is an eel in the family Ophichthidae (worm/snake eels). It was described by David Starr Jordan and Charles Henry Gilbert in 1882, originally under the genus Apterichthys. It is a marine, tropical eel which is known from the eastern central and southeastern Pacific Ocean, including Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador, and Mexico.

Ichthyapus es un género de peces anguiliformes de la familia Ophichthidae, descrito por primera vez en 1847 por Charles N. F. Brisout.
