Vase Sponge

Ircinia campana est une espèce d'éponges de la famille des Irciniidae. Cette espèce a été décrite en 1814 par Jean-Baptiste de Lamarck, sous le nom Spongia campana. Elle est couverte de sortes de verrues de couleur rougeâtre ou brun-rougeâtre qui présentent en leur centre un oscule noir.

Niphates digitalis, commonly known as the pink vase sponge, is a species of sea sponge belonging to the family Niphatidae. It is native to the Florida Keys, The Bahamas, and the Caribbean including the Netherlands Antilles. The species was first described by Jean-Baptiste Lamarck in 1814.
