Issoria gemmata

Issoria est un genre de lépidoptères (papillons) de la famille des Nymphalidae. Ses espèces sont présentes en Eurasie et en Afrique. Systématique Le genre Issoria a été décrit par l'entomologiste allemand Jakob Hübner en 1819.

Issoria gemmata is a small brown-chequered-with-black (fritillary) butterfly found in the Palearctic realm that belongs to the family Nymphalidae. The species was first described by Arthur Gardiner Butler in 1881. It is found in the Indian state of Sikkim and in Tibet.
