Sunset Cup Coral

Leptopsammia pruvoti, appelé corail jaune solitaire, est une espèce de coraux appartenant à la famille des Dendrophylliidae.

Leptopsammia pruvoti, the sunset cup coral, is a solitary stony coral in the family Dendrophylliidae. It is an azooxanthellate species, meaning its tissues do not contain the symbiotic unicellular algae (zooxanthellae) of the genus Symbiodinium, as do most corals. It is native to the Mediterranean Sea.
