Yallara

Le Bandicoot-lapin à queue blanche ou petit bilby (Macrotis leucura) était un marsupial d'Australie centrale découvert en 1887. Il est considéré comme éteint depuis 1950. Description Macrotis leucura est beaucoup plus petit que le grand bilby (devenu bilby depuis la disparition du petit bilby).

The lesser bilby (Macrotis leucura), also known as the yallara, the lesser rabbit-eared bandicoot or the white-tailed rabbit-eared bandicoot, is an extinct rabbit-like marsupial. The species was first described by Oldfield Thomas as Peregale leucura in 1887 from a single specimen from a collection of mammals of the British Museum. Reaching the size of a young rabbit, this species lived in the deserts of Central Australia.

El bilbi menor (Macrotis leucura) es una especie extinta de marsupial peramelemorfo de la familia Peramelidae. Era similar al conejo y vivía en los desiertos de Australia Central. Desde las décadas de 1950 y 1960, está extinto.
