Chinese Pangolin

Le Pangolin à courte queue ou Pangolin de Chine (Manis pentadactyla). est une espèce de mammifères de la famille des Manidae. Il vit en Asie orientale et du Sud-Est.

The Chinese pangolin (Manis pentadactyla) is a pangolin native to the northern Indian subcontinent, northern parts of Southeast Asia and southern China. It has been listed as Critically Endangered on the IUCN Red List since 2014, as the wild population is estimated to have declined by more than 80% in three pangolin generations, equal to 21 years. It is threatened by poaching for the illegal wildlife trade.

El pangolín chino (Manis pentadactyla) es una especie de mamífero folidoto de la familia Manidae. Se encuentra en el norte de la India, Nepal, Bután, posiblemente Bangladés y a través de Birmania hasta Indochina, pasando por la mayor parte de Taiwán y el sur de China, incluyendo la isla de Hainan. Características Es de tamaño mediano, con una cola de 25-40cm de longitud, su cuerpo mide entre 45 y 60 cm.
