Bighead Portholefish

Margrethia obtusirostra est une espèce de poissons de l'infra-classe des téléostéens (Teleostei).

Margrethia obtusirostra, the Bighead portholefish, is a bristlemouth of the family Gonostomatidae, found in the tropical and subtropical Indo-Pacific and Atlantic oceans, at depths of between 100 and 600 m. Its length is between 5 and 8 cm. References "Margrethia obtusirostra".

Margrethia obtusirostra es un pez que pertenece a la familia Gonostomatidae. ​ Se encuentra en las aguas de los Océanos Atlántico e Indo Pacífico a profundidades que van desde los 100 hasta 600 metros. ​ Esta especie fue reconocida por primera vez en 1919 por Poul Christian Jespersen y Åge Vedel Tåning.
