Tavaratra Mouse Lemur

Le Microcèbe roux du nord (Microcebus tavaratra) est une espèce de microcèbes endémique de Madagascar. Classification Le nom valide complet (avec auteur) de ce taxon est Microcebus tavaratra Rasoloarison (d), Goodman & Ganzhorn (d), 2000. Étymologie Son épithète spécifique, tavaratra, signifie « du Nord » en malgache.

The northern rufous mouse lemur (Microcebus tavaratra), northern brown mouse lemur, or Tavaratra mouse lemur is found in northern Madagascar from the Ankarana Special Reserve in the west to the Manambato River in the northeast, and up to the Irodo River in the north of the Analamerana Special Reserve. The complete distribution range of M. tavaratra is still to be defined as some areas surrounding the described distribution have not been visited yet.

El lémur ratón rojizo del norte (Microcebus tavaratra)​ es una especie de primate estrepsirrino que habita en el norte de Madagascar en la reserva Ankarana. ​ La especie habita en bosques caducifolios y en galería. Su ecología y comportamiento continúa sin ser investigado.
