Bracken Bug

Bryocoris pteridis est une petite espèce d'insectes hémiptères du sous-ordre des hétéroptères (punaises) de la famille des Miridae (Cimicomorpha, Miroidea). Description Long de 2 à 4 mm, c'est un insecte relativement commun, microptère ou macroptère, qui vit surtout sur les fougères. La tête est jaune à brunâtre avec le tylus (partie centrale descendant vers le rostre) noir.

Monalocoris filicis, commonly known as the bracken bug, is a true bug in the family Miridae. The species is found in Europe from Ireland in the West and including the northern edge of the Mediterranean and the East across the Palearctic to Central Asia, Korea and Japan. In Central Europe, it is widespread and generally common.
